Splash provides the guest-facing application. Gateway controls access at the network edge.
The integration is an evaluation path. Qualify hardware, installed-system behaviour, client detection,
walled-garden rules, authorisation and session lifecycle before production use.
Native Gateway evaluation sessions do not imply RADIUS accounting or universal Splash usage analytics.
